PURPOSE The purpose of Spanish Club is to offer to the student an opportunity to Increase his/her exposure to the Spanish culture and serve our Southeast Fountain Community.
DUES $5.00 will be paid to the Spanish Club in order to be an active member.  These funds are used to purchase refreshments and other items through the course of the year.  These dues must be paid by Friday, September 9, 2011.  I will be submitting a club roster to Mr. Moore and to all FC faculty and your name must be on this list.
DINING Our trip to Pepe’s this spring has been scheduled for March 15, 2012.  Spanish Club will pay for your dinner provided you sell all of your items during our fund-raiser.
T-SHIRTS Each year we custom order Spanish Club t-shirts at a reasonable cost to our members. We are open to suggestions for this year’s shirt (color, design, etc.)  Please share your ideas with Srta. Kashmer, one of our club officers or your class representative.
SALES PROJECT Participation in the sales project is mandatory.  If you wish to be a member of Spanish Club, you must help us generate funds. You may not remain a member or Spanish Club nor may you attend our trip to Pepe’s if you don’t participate in the sales project. We will be selling Home Interior-type products again this year along with snacks.  I will pass out the order forms for our sales project on Sept. 30th at our meeting.  These fundraising forms are due back to me by Oct. 17th. Your fundraising items will be delivered to you the first week of December.
MEETINGS Meetings will take place during RTI in the auxiliary gym.
PELICULAS Each nine weeks we will have a movie night after school in Srta. Kashmer’s room.  Chips, salsa, nacho cheese, soda, diet soda, water and cookies are served and the movie begins at 3:15 and is over by 5:30.  The DVD is shown with Spanish subtitles using Spanish Club’s surround sound system.  All current Spanish Club members are invited to attend and may bring a guest who is not in Spanish Club at a cost of $5.00 - if seating permits.

FUNDRAISER Water, gum and healthy goodies are available for sale in Srta. Kashmer’s room before school, RTI, passing periods and immediately after school.  Proceeds support our Spanish Club and the Southeast Fountain Community.
COMMUNITY SUPPORT Our Spanish Club provides assistance to those in need in our Southeast Fountain Community.  We have helped those who have lost their home to fire, those suffering from illness, and our soldiers during wartime.  It is an honor to be a member of an organization which helps so many.  Please support our fundraisers so we can continue to help those in need.
