7th & 8th Grade Parents IMPORTANT Information about the Twenty-First Century Scholars Program:

The Twenty-first Century Scholars program has been going through some changes resulting in legislation restructuring the TCFS program.  Detailed information of the legislative changes can be found on the Scholars website at www.in.gov/ssaci. Online applications may also be completed at this website.  The state prefers students apply online if at all possible.  A link to the website and application are also available on the FCHS website under the guidance department at www.sefschools.org.  The school still has not received any paper applications from the scholars program at this time and we have been told that we will receive very few when they finally do arrive.

**Parents are STRONGLY encouraged to apply online.  The deadline for applying is June 30th of the student’s 8th grade year.  If you are eligible for free and reduced benefits you have a good possibility of qualifying.  For questions contact Jason Carter at the local office located in Lafayette at 765-496-0046.
